Regenerative Agriculture Projects
FROM GREEN DOT YERBA MATE
No matter how small, every species is a vital cog in the wheel of ecosystem productivity. This profound understanding is at the heart of our commitment to biodiversity. We are constantly in awe of nature’s balance and strive to preserve it.

We donate 6% of our profits to fund sustainability projects at both ends of the Jaguar Corridor from the U.S. southwestern region to Northern Argentina.

Madre Del Monte
The agricultural technician, Pablo Montoya, is leading our “Madre del Monte” (“Mother of the Mountain”) project in the heart of Misiones, Argentina.
Forest nurseries are the starting point of a necessary change to reverse the degradation of natural resources and improve the population’s quality of life. We are establishing a forest nursery to grow seedlings of Araucaria Angustifolia and other native plants of the region. The nursery will contribute to reforestation efforts in areas that have been logged and to protect native forests facing extinction in the Misiones green corridor area.
The nursery will gradually transition to an Agroforestry Model, where other trees will be grown alongside yerba mate trees. This approach benefits the entire ecosystem, as the additional trees provide shade to the mate trees, enabling the leaves to retain more nutrients and flavor. Furthermore, the extra organic material improves soil moisture and benefits other plant roots. The Agroforestry Model is increasingly recognized as a “holistic food production system” with significant environmental, economic, and social advantages. Intercropping helps diversify the plots, generate extra income for the project, and contribute to the reforestation of the area and the Atlantic rainforest.
